Students and teachers visit Mayor at the Town Hall for a welcome reception

The Mayor of A Laracha, Mr. José Manuel LÓPEZ VARELA, welcomes international students by presenting to them the town.

The reception included a welcome pack (maps and tourist information, services, places to visit, major cultural and upcoming events) and a welcome speech: Our lovely students, Elvira GÓMEZ COSTA and Luis BAO BELLO, acted as interpreters for their mates.

PROJECT INFORMATION

The main goal of this eTwinning Project is to create bonds of friendship and cooperation among students from two countries with different languages and cultural backgrounds. 

Our project AIMS include:

• To encourage the students to get to know each other and to become friends 
• To help them develop the skills that will enable them to communicate in another language 
• To help them improve their computing skills so that they can use the new technological tools efficiently
• To help them improve their knowledge of a foreign country (both schools are close to the river, Vistula and Anllóns) and a foreign culture for them to surmount prejudice and gain tolerance
